Before you click away I’m not an old man and I don’t have digestive issues. This is one seriously delicious and cheap winter warmer.
What’s even better is that all you do is throw in all in a pot and let it cook.
- 1 Kg Gravy Beef
- 1 x 400 grm Tin Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 packet French Onion Soup
- 1 cup White Vinegar
- 12 Pitted Prunes
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcious
Cut beef into nice sized chunks and throw into a oven safe dish with a lid.
Mix in french onion soup, Tomatoes and vinegar
Bake, covered at 180 for 1 hour.
While stew is baking finely chop the prunes and after an hour throw them into the stew. Cook for another hour.
After the second hour is up your stew is ready Serve on a plate with some seasonable vegetables.
